Mattias Røstad Jørum to Lead Advania’s Cyber Resilience Strategy
With more than 5,000 employees across seven countries, Advania has built strong security teams with extensive expertise and experience in each of its markets. As Director of Cyber Resilience, Mattias Røstad Jørum will be responsible for strengthening collaboration across countries, further developing Advania’s cyber resilience strategy, and making the company’s combined expertise even more accessible to customers across Advania’s markets.
“Cyber resilience is one of our three strategic growth areas. We have built strong security teams across Advania, and with Mattias in this role, we are further strengthening both collaboration and our shared ambition in this field. This gives our customers access to even broader expertise and capacity across the Group,” says Hege Støre, CEO of Advania.
The appointment comes as Advania continues to invest in strategic technology areas including artificial intelligence and cyber resilience. Earlier this year, the company launched Advania ALT, its sovereign AI platform designed to give organisations greater choice and control over how they use AI and manage their data.
Jørum joins Advania from his position as Director of Consulting at Telenor Cyberdefence, where he led consulting services across several cybersecurity disciplines. He previously held security related roles at mnemonic and worked with advisory services and business development at Bekk.
“Not every organisation has the opportunity to build large in house security teams. That is why it is important to have a partner that combines local presence with deep specialist expertise. Advania already has a very strong foundation in place, and I look forward to further strengthening collaboration across the Group for the benefit of our customers,” says Mattias Røstad Jørum.
Jørum will report to Group CEO Hege Støre and lead the continued development of Advania’s cyber resilience capabilities across the Nordics, the UK and Ireland.
